Golshan ARA Eram Co. was setup in early 2014 to design, build and operate an export terminal which will provide a complete set of facilities and equipment for collection, cleaning, sorting, packaging and distribution of fruits, vegetables and other greenhouse products for both domestic and export markets.
GAE is a joint venture between ARA investment management co., Luban Trading Co. LLC. (a subsidiary of Al-Taher Group of Companies based in Oman) and W.J. Towell Group of Companies based in Lebanon. Bazara is also a major shareholder.
The terminal is currently about 25% completed and is due to be fully operational by the end of 2016.
